Welcome to my playthrough of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition on the PlayStation 4! I am playing the game vanilla. This game has been rated M for Mature by the ESRB. This video does not contain commentary.

Skyrim is an immersive open-world RPG from Bethesda Game Studios. This game offers a lot of freedom and a lot of stuff to do. I will be playing the vanilla game without mods. This won't be as structured as my other playthroughs; I expect to post videos as I play and get them ready.

First, I let the title theme play.

Then, I start a new game (time 4:24).

As the game begins, I create my character, an Imperial named Davilas. Caught up in the civil war in Skyrim, Imperial forces have captured him along with some Stormcloaks and transport him to Helgen. However, just before Davilas loses his head, a dragon attacks!

Davilas starts the first story quest, "Unbound". He follows Ralof and then Hadvar through Helgen to avoid getting burned to a crisp by the dragon. Then, he chooses to enter Helgen Keep with Hadvar. If you so choose, you can escape alongside a Stormcloak soldier, Ralof, instead. In the long run, it doesn't really matter.

After Davilas gets his hand free and acquires some gear, he and Hadvar begin making their way through Helgen Keep. There are a few Stormcloaks to kill as an introduction to combat.

They make their way to the sadistic Torturer. In the Torturer's chambers, there is an introduction to lockpicking, which is an excellent skill.
