This is video #183 in my playthrough of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition on the PlayStation 4. I am playing the game vanilla. This game has been rated M for Mature by the ESRB. Previously, Davilas continued helping Neloth at Tel Mithryn with the quest "Azra's Staffs". Then, he went to Thirsk Mead Hall and did most of the quest "The Chief of Thirsk Hall". However, he drew the line at helping the Rieklings wipe out the Nords at Bujold's Retreat. Now, he will help Bujold and company retake Thirsk.

After resuming, Davilas talks to Bujold the Unworthy. When he asks what's going on, and then offers to help out, the quest "The Chief of Thirsk Hall" fails. Bujold issues the quest "Retaking Thirsk". First, she rouses up her fellows to take care of the Rieklings.

The fighting begins when they reach the exterior of Thirsk Mead Hall. Once the Rieklings outside are defeated, they head inside the mead hall. The objective to kill the Rieklings is concluded when the Rieklings are all dead.

Then, Bujold talks to Davilas. Now, she wants Davilas to meet her at Hrothmund's Barrow to get the approval of Hrothmund, the mead hall's founder.

Davilas fast-travels to Hrothmund's Barrow, which he discovered recently in the northwest of Solstheim. After meeting and conversing with Bujold outside, Davilas leads the way into the barrow. Unlike most Nord crypts, there are no hordes of Draugr to fight. With Bujold along, the water in the main chamber will drain away.

Some dialogue takes place as they reach the axe in the stone at the end of the barrow. Hrothmund is displeased with what has happened. Afterwards, there will be an option: to go along with Bujold or to prevent her from leading Thirsk. Preventing her from leading Thirsk will mean fighting and killing her. Davilas chooses to go along with Bujold. She is now Bujold the Intrepid. "Retaking Thirsk" complete!

Afterwards, Davilas fast-travels back to Thirsk Mead Hall. When he goes inside, Bujold's husband, Kuvar, will speak to him. Again, Davilas has an option: to go along with Bujold's scheme or to out her. Be aware that if you tell the truth about her, you will no longer be welcome in Thirsk. Davilas continues to go along with Bujold's scheme, so he remains in Kuvar's good graces.

Now, a few people around Thirsk will have objectives to carry out. First, Davilas talks to Elmus. When Davilas asks how the mead is, Elmus issues the objective "Bring Elmus some Juniper Berries". Davilas already has some Juniper Berries, so he hands them over to Elmus. This concludes Elmus's objective. Elmus rewards him with some gold and some Ashfire Mead.

Then, Davilas speaks to a woman named Hilund. When he asks how the Riekling hunting is going, she issues the objective "Bring 50 Riekling Spears to Hilund". Davilas has already found the requisite number of Riekling Spears, so he hands them over. This concludes Hilund's objective. She rewards him with some gold.

Next, Davilas speaks to a man named Halbarn Iron-Fur. When Davilas asks if Halbarn is getting back to work, Halbarn issues the objective "Bring 10 Stalhrim Ore and 15 Ebony Ingots to Halbarn".

Davilas fast-travels home to Lakeview Manor in Skyrim to withdraw some Ebony Ingots and Stalhrim from storage. Then, he fast-travels to the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon, where he finds a couple of Ebony Ingots inside.

Afterwards, he fast-travels to Raven Rock on Solstheim. There, he is fortunate to find that Glover Mallory has some Ebony Ingots in stock.

Next, Davilas fast-travels to the Stalhrim Source in the northwest of the island. There, he uses the Ancient Nordic Pickaxe to mine for some Stalhrim.

When Davilas has everything he needs, he fast-travels to Thirsk Mead Hall and reports to Halbarn. This concludes Halbarn's objective. Halbarn rewards Davilas with some gold.

Now, Davilas will look for two Kagrumez Resonance Gems so he can explore Kagrumez. First, he fast-travels to Nchardak. He goes into the Nchardak Reading Room and goes down to the Nchardak Great Chamber. After switching around some Control Cubes to lower the water level, he heads to the northern area, Nchardak Aqueduct. With the water in the aqueduct at its highest level, he can access a room on the northeast ledge. After opening the door and defeating a Dwarven Ballista, he can claim a Kagrumez Resonance Gem from the table.
