stems from a rumor heard by the innkeeper of Sleeping Giant Inn at Riverwood or any other inn about a child in Windhelm performing the black sacrament. You are sent to speak with Aventus Aretino in Windhelm and discover that he's up to more than just childish shenanigans. Aventus will think that you are part of the Dark Brotherhood and send you to kill Grelod The "Kind". You'll receive the Aretino Family Heirloom for your efforts.(Aventus Aretino is a child.)

Grelod is located far to the south in Riften. Seek out Honorhall Orphanage and simply kill Grelod. If you don't mind exposing children to violence, you can do it in front of them without any repercussions, or you can be a gentleman and wait until she retires for the night. Carry out Aventus’ wishes only to be met by the hurrah’s of the remaining children, who compliment Aventus for a job well done. Return to Aventus with the good news.

After completing this quest, you must sleep somewhere to initiate the next Dark Brotherhood quest, With Friends Like These....

Graywinter Watch is a small single-chambered troll cave underneath the Ritual Stone. There is a single internal zone to the cave.
The cave, which overlooks the White River, is easily reachable from the nearby road. Along the west side of the Ritual Stone's rock foundation is a dirt path which leads directly to the cave

There are two trolls in the cave; one is visible from the tunnel, and the other is hidden near the campfire. There are a total of six blisterwort, three white cap and four bleeding crown fungi around the cave. To the right of the entrance is a ramp to the higher part of the cave.
At the top of the ramp is a row of nine skulls. There is a small campsite here, with a central campfire, and the corpses of a female Nord bandit and a male Nord bandit. There are two bedrolls on one side of the fire, and a tent on the other. To the right of the tent is a copy of the Archery skill book Vernaccus and Bourlor, three steel arrows, a pile or quiver of random arrows, and Froki's bow atop a food barrel. Lastly, by the bedrolls is a knapsack.
Notes[edit]

There are a total of fifteen humanoid skulls in the cave, though only twelve of them can be lifted.
Froki Whetted-Blade's bow respawns at this location.
There are two corundum ore veins located north of the cave across the river, next to a rocky outcropping and a tree.
