Hello everyone! This was another demo during the Steam Next Festival, and one of my personal favourites. This is Morbid: The Lords of Ire, a sequel to Morbid: The Seven Acolytes, and, as the previous title, it is a soulslike, but now they moved the 3D and they did quite a good job at that. The game looks and feels great. One thing I have to say about it though is that it lacks on uniqueness (which not necessarily is a bad thing), taking most of the mechanics from Dark Souls and Sekiro (the way you fight from the first one, but some of the parry, posture and stealth from the second one), but I gotta say that they managed to do an impressive job. Sadly, there is not a lot of enemy variety, even when I almost played 2 hours, but I really enjoyed to go through the surroundings stealthing my way sometimes from tough situations (I have to admit that I usually don't like stealth games) or parrying the melee enemies (it felt great). The main complain for some of the players would be that sometimes they add too many enemies in some areas (which... to be fair, was even worst in Sekiro), but they made it open enough so you can be going around and selecting which group target first.

You have two bosses in the demo, the first one had a cool design but it was kind of a meh fight, while the second one was tougher. I did find a bug in the second fight, when sometimes the projectiles would hit me even if I am far from them (don't know if I should call that a bug) and also, if I die, the game would become the inactive window and I had to clic on it before moving.

There also are some performance tweaks needed to be done I think. The game wasn't constantly stuttering or with fps drops, but it would happen sometimes. It was also using every resource of an RTX 2060, even when they said it should run in a 970.
