Hello everyone! This is a playtest that was around during the Steam Next Festival without being part of it. This is Lost Castle 2 (a sequel to Lost Castle), a 2D Beat 'em up roguelite that reminded me to games like Castle Crashers or Knights of Braveland, mixed with something like Rotwood. It feels a bit slow-paced, and I think I would enjoy it way more in co-op, but it was a nice demo. I tried it in hard difficulty with no meta-progression, so I kinda struggle a bit, but I could manage my way until I got to the boss, who I didn't like it at all. Again, the boss was pretty similar to bosses from Castle Crashers or Knights of Braveland, but I was also surrounded by other little enemies, which made the fight really annoying. I didn't try it anymore because it was in the middle of the Steam Next Fest and I had way too many demos to play... and now the playtest is gone, so... GG. Hopefully, there will be a demo in the future with online co-op, so I can try it again.
