Sleeping Dogs, originally titled True Crime: Hong Kong before Activision cancelled the project, is set to be one of the most gruesome and violent video games to launch this year. Developed by United Front Games in collaboration with Square Enix London Studios, Sleeping Dogs takes place in Hong Kong with the protagonist being Wei Shen, an undercover police officer on the pursuit of the Triad organization to bring an end to its criminal actions.

I had the chance to speak with Dan Sochan, the Producer of Sleeping Dogs at PAX East 2012, on how Sleeping Dogs has developed into what it is today and the involvement United Front Games, known for ModNation Racers and the upcoming LittleBigPlanet Karting, has had in the production of the upcoming release.
