SlimKirby's 16th-Year Anniversary Update
83Hello everybody, SlimKirby here! Have a Happy American 4th of July and welcome to my 16th-Year Anniversary update!
The video description will be recapping everything I talked about in the video, so watch that first in case you don't want to be spoiled of any of the surprises.
I've been doing Youtube content for 16-years now, and although things have most certainly slowed down, I'm still not quite ready to hang up my content-creating coat just yet, so let's talk about some things coming up that I'm working on!
In addition to finishing up Super Mario Odyssey this next week, tomorrow I will uploading a pretty lengthy video as sort of a debut into making more narrative and essay-driven content. I'll be doing a recap video of this year's Super 16 event that will basically be me analyzing the event and the process/adventure I was on in preparing, practicing, and taking on the challenge. I plan to do more stuff like this in the future, but maybe with more things like retrospectives and video game challenges.
I am also in the process of working on a clip show that should be up later this month or next month. All the moments are collected, I just need to put it together, and although that will take some time, in my experience this process does go pretty quickly, especially if I get on a roll, so I don't foresee it taking too long.
Finally, I have officially announced that this year I will be taking on a Let's Play of Animal Crossing, but I will be handling this project in a slightly different way. I will be live streaming my playthrough of Animal Crossing on here, so you will be able to watch the full-length raw video sessions of this playthrough, but in addition to that, I will be making shorter "Let's Play" like videos of this playthrough as well that will condense a lot of the repetition that will likely be experienced as a result. I have no start date in mind for this just yet, but it should be starting soon once I figure out a few more things!
That's about all I am going to reveal for right now! I will of course still be working on my normal Let's Play projects as well as my normal stream sessions here on Twitch and Youtube! Speaking of which, here is a link to my Twitch account!
