Slipstream is a new (ish) retro racing game. It’s a throwback to a style of game that once ruled the arcade, the super scaler racing game. This game is an unabashed love letter in both its presentation and gameplay. It’s fast, it’s pixelated and it’s hard!

It was previously only available on PC but it just got released for Switch, PS4/PS5 and Xbox one/series. This is not for everyone but if you love retro racing games like outrun, outrunners, rad mobile and super Monaco GP, you should definitely check this out!

This review is based on the PlayStation 5 version of the game.
