SM64 Randomizer - Nonstop Mode [ep9]: A Surprisingly Quick Mario Finale
Wow, I didn't expect the final episode of this playthrough to turn out like THIS. I believe I mentioned in my site's news page that I was planning on this episode being pretty long, but... it clearly wasn't, lol. I'm kind of glad though, as I did really want to finish this with this episode, and I definitely did, that's for sure. Anyway, now that I've played this randomizer again, both in Nonstop Mode and "Non-nonstop Mode", I most likely won't be doing a playthrough of Mario 64 Rando (or Mario 64 in general) for quite a while. It's been quite a long time since I started this one (er, "Non-nonstop Mode", rather), so I'd like to move on to a different playthrough now... uh, in a couple weeks. I'd like to spend some time getting through my Ordinary and Omori playthroughs before I start the new playthrough replacing this one, which I believe I've already mentioned at some point.
This is a kind of random thing to mention, but it was actually pretty cold while I was recording this (and editing it as well, I guess). I'm honestly surprised I didn't mention it while recording, as I think it might've affected the way I was talking a bit during recording, as I was a tad "shivery". Probably not enough that you wouldn't have realized if I didn't tell you here. This probably wasn't important enough to even tell you at all, but whatever. Unlike the heat I don't mind the cold much though, so it didn't really affect my mood negatively or anything. In fact, I was so not in a negative mood that I had enough motivation to edit this whole episode the same night I recorded it on, despite being kind of tired. As I expected, this was a really easy and quick one to edit, so I had plenty of time even though I took a bit of a break before starting.
This is an even more random thing to mention, especially at the END of this playthrough, but fairly recently I changed my border images to no longer show the version numbers of what I'm playing if it's a romhack or a randomizer, right? Including this one, of course. I figured it was fine as I always have that listed in the description anyway... except, when I was getting close to finishing editing this episode, I realized I never actually added that to this playthrough's descriptions (including Non-nonstop Mode's)! Somehow, I completely forgot about that. What a thing to realize at the very end, lol... I stopped editing momentarily to fix this for those other descriptions, so as of me writing this, they should all have that included now. This one's too, obviously. Yeah-er.
Damn, I didn't expect to write this much stuff for this one's description, even though I tend to do that for my "final episode of the playthrough" episodes. I suppose this one was no exception to that. So, I hope you enjoyed this or whatever. While I liked this playthrough, I haven't really played Super Mario 64 casually during this as I thought it'd be weird to do so, so it'll be nice to be able to do so again.
