This is the World 3-3 Level from Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels for the Nintendo Entertainment System.

Yet another typical platforming stage. I dare say that World 2 and World 3 were easier than World 1. That's going to change very soon, though. One strategy with dealing with the Green Springs sometimes to guarantee landing on a platform is to line the platform with the left side of the screen. That way all you need to do is hold left to land on the platform safely. It's not always possible to do this strategy at all times, though.

Another thing is the Red Koopa at the end of the level. You must bounce off of it in order to reach the top of the flag pole. This is something that will become more common in later stages and it only gets worse. It also sucks that there is a special magic spot where you must touch to grab the flag pole or else you'll fall through it.
