Releasing the Cabrakan in Arena mode this time!

I mostly built him Guardian this time around but had a little bit of damage with the Voidstone. I've mostly seen him built as either Mage or hybrid between Guardian and Mage. Warlock's Sash is real popular but given our hyper aggressive team I'm glad I didn't pick it since I doubt I'd get many last hits with an Anubis, Chaac and Mercury around even with Tremors.

This game...Not the hardest I played or the closet but eh had its moments. Loved my team! We were just so aggressive and really kept them down almost the entire game.

And yes, that Neith play...Lol..Facepunch Neith? I still wonder why she got in so close to a God aiming a beam of death at her. Said God was also very close to our base/allies whereas I had scared hers off...Perhaps the world will never know....

Ability wise here's my thoughts on him:

Passive: Shadow Zone-Allies in a 30 ft radius of Cabrakan take 5% reduced damage. Very nice passive think this was one thing that allowed my team to be real aggressive early on.

Seismic Crush: Cabrakan becomes enraged, increasing his movement speed by 15/20/25/30/35% for 5s. While active, Cabrakan's next successful basic attack will stun for 1s and do 100/125/175/225/275 (+50% of your magical power) bonus damage. Additionally, Cabrakan is immune to slows and roots while this ability is active.
Cost: 50/55/60/65/70 mana.
Cooldown: 18 seconds.

REALLY good skill IMO. The movement speed increase, the immunity to slows/roots and of course that stun. Really good for helping secure kills if playing him as Guardian. Not bad damage.

Refraction Shield: Passive: Cabrakan gains 15/20/25/30/35 increased protections from his shields. As his shields take damage they store energy and gain up to 5 stacks but shed 3/4/5/6/7 protections per stack.
Active: Cabrakan slams his shields together creating a concussive blast that deals 90/140/190/240/290 (+50% of your magical power) to enemies in front of him. If his shields have max stacks then the enemies hit are stunned for 1s.
Cost: 65/70/75/80/85 mana.
Cooldown: 14/13/12/11/10 seconds.

Not the most useful of his abilities but not too bad either. The protections can come in handy.

Tremors: Cabrakan repeatedly slams the ground with his shields creating an earthquake and causing enemies around him to tremble. Enemies caught in the earthquake take 25/35/45/55/65 (+25% of your magical power) damage every .5s and are slowly sucked in towards Cabrakan.
Cost: 15/20/25/30/35 every .5 second.
Cooldown: 8 seconds.

This one is pretty damn cool, the catch however if of course you must stay still to channel/use it! So it can put you in big danger if the enemy team is AOE heavy or has a stun/CC ready for you as it can be interrupted of course. Still a very good move can be used to clear and can really help in team fights too. It's not hard to escape if caught in Tremors.

Lastly his ultimate Tectonic Shift: Cabrakan stomps the ground creating a wall of earth and a fissure that travels out in front of him and deals 100/200/250/300/350 (+70% of your magical power) damage to any enemies caught in its path. The walls have 200/400/600/800/1000 health and may be destroyed if they take enough damage. Cabrakan may destroy his own walls with a single basic attack.
Cost: 100 mana.
Cooldown: 75 seconds.

This one is still a rather unique ultimate. Somewhat hard to utilize successfully when compared to how easy Ymir walls are. The best way is to trap your enemies in them but the walls break really easily and can get destroyed by just about anything. Probably way better in Conquest/Siege if you can isolate an enemy God.

So is he better played as Guardian or Mage? Eh I'll leave that decision to you. He does do real nice damage though if built as a Mage. I suspect Hi-Rez is going to change him quite a bit in the coming patches though to make him more viable as a Guardian.

Design wise? Pretty cool love the giant shields. Although it's weird he is a Guardian given his lore and his desire for revenge against the Mayan Hero Twins/personality. The Destroyer Of Mountains title is kinda odd for a Guardian. He is basically a lot like a professional wrestler and that is part of his charm. He's a big, overconfident, angry and violent! What more could you ask for? Now that you mention it he does seem like he'd make more sense as a Warrior but oh well...Other than that he sounds rather true to his lore and he looks the part.

Do note this was also before the hotfix so there's a small chance somethings may change, mostly fixing the crazy duplicate players/extra player bugs which I luckily did not run into.
