Scylla is the newest God in Smite! And...a more controversial one at that, they went with the lesser known lore of Scylla being born with those wolf-head tentacles as opposed to the common one from the Odyssey where she was a beautiful woman who was transformed into a hideous creature that terrorized sea-faring people alongside Charybdis. One had to choose between two evils. Instead she's a Loli in Smite lol. Which some hate,some love. Gotta give them credit for being diffrent though I suppose with this interpretation. It's not like other games where it is typically always a half naked chick/monster. And remember to insert Doge jokes somewhere...

Game-play wise though, it generally is agreed she is balanced, it's only her root that people find nuts but personally I find it easy to dodge. Her ultimate can be amazing but it requires good aim and timing to make use of, that is what balances it out. Her sentinel is also not so game-changing in the Arena but can be nice for some quick escapes, just remember some Gods like Ares and Poseidon have skills that will prevent you from using it, such as the Ares's chains or the whirlpool from Poseidon so beware.

Her Crush is probably her best move, once maxed enemies in the area also have their Magic Protection reduced by 25%, and targets hit by the damage are slowed for an additional 1s! So yeah, pretty useful. I liked maxing it sooner than later, Sic em is also good. Sentinel not so much IMO. Ultimate is awesome but just remember if you can't land it on killing blows it's not going to be as effective since it won't get allow you to use it again.

Build wise, Polynomicon is popular on her for good reasons and I do like Gem of Isolation too. I regret not building more aggressive since they barley focused me in this match! It was crazy. Geb really kept them off me. Just remember Scylla is very squishy, another one of her balancing points. Sometimes a breastplate won't hurt. Scylla leans towards damage than cool-down reduction for sure though but her root is not bad at all for CC.
