캐릭터를 만들고 장비와 스펠을 강화하여 모험과 전투에 나서는 전략 RPG입니다. 먼저, 캐릭터를 생성하여 5개의 스탯과 추가 보너스 스탯을 조정하고 외형을 설정합니다. 젬이 충분하다면 마켓에서 완성된 캐릭터를 직접 고용할 수도 있어 편리합니다.
캐릭터가 완성되면 장비와 스펠을 장착하여 전투를 준비합니다. 장비는 상점 구매나 모험을 통해 획득할 수 있으며, 인첸트로 추가 옵션을 부여하여 성능을 강화할 수 있습니다. 스펠은 발동 조건과 간격, 이펙트 등을 직접 설정하여 제작할 수 있으며, 캐릭터의 마나 한계 내에서 배치가 가능합니다. 스펠 제작 시, 캐릭터의 스탯에 맞춰 설정하면 전투에서 효율성을 극대화할 수 있습니다.
전투를 시작하기 전에는 최대 3명의 캐릭터로 팀을 구성하여 근접, 보조, 스펠 우선도를 지정할 수 있습니다. 전투 유형은 대전, 몬스터 사냥, 모험으로 나뉘며, 대전은 다른 플레이어와의 전투로 랭킹전, 일반 대전, 친구 대전이 있습니다. 몬스터 사냥은 단계별로 난이도가 상승하며, 모험은 본진을 중심으로 타일을 점령해 나가는 방식입니다.
전투는 기본적으로 자동으로 진행됩니다. 좌우로 나뉜 두 진영의 캐릭터들이 전진하며 스펠과 근접 공격을 자동으로 수행합니다. 전투 승리 시에는 젬을 획득할 수 있지만, 패배 시에는 보상이 없는 점이 다소 아쉽습니다.
모험에서는 타일 내부를 탐색하며 다양한 이벤트와 전투를 진행할 수 있습니다. 함정 이벤트에서는 캐릭터 머리 위로 돌이 떨어져 피해를 입을 수 있으므로, 좌우로 판을 이동하여 보호해야 합니다. 퍼즐 이벤트에서는 상자를 지정된 위치로 이동시키는 미니게임을 완료하면 랜덤 아이템을 획득할 수 있습니다. 타일을 모두 정복하면 젬을 소모하여 점령할 수 있으며, 벽이나 타워를 건설할 수도 있습니다.
게임의 전반적인 시스템은 다양한 성장 요소와 자동 전투의 조합으로 이루어져 있지만, 이동 속도가 느리고 조작감이 불편하여 몰입도가 떨어지는 부분이 있습니다. 특히, 월드 맵에서 마우스로 이동을 지시할 수 없는 점도 아쉽습니다.

Smithy Wars is a strategic RPG where you craft characters, upgrade gear, and embark on epic adventures. Start by creating your character, customizing stats and appearance, or hire a pre-made one from the market if you have enough gems.
Equip your character with gear obtained from shops or adventures, and enhance it through enchantments for added effects. You can also craft spells by setting activation conditions, effects, casting time, and more. Once the spell is ready, assign it to your character’s spell field, but make sure it matches their mana capacity for optimal performance.
After setting up your team of up to three characters, you can choose between PvP Battles, Monster Hunts, or Adventures. PvP involves ranking matches, casual duels, or friend battles. Monster Hunts progressively increase in difficulty, while Adventures involve capturing tiles on the map by clearing events and battles.
Combat is primarily automated, with characters advancing towards enemies, casting spells, and engaging in melee attacks based on the priorities you set. If your team defeats all enemies, you receive gems, but if you lose, the battle simply ends without rewards.
During Adventures, you can move between tiles, encountering traps and puzzles. Trap events involve dodging falling rocks to protect your team, while puzzles challenge you to move boxes to designated spots for random item rewards. Once you clear a tile, you can spend gems to claim it and build walls or towers, though their strategic purpose remains somewhat unclear.
The game’s progression can feel slow, particularly on the world map, where movement is limited and navigating with the mouse is impossible. Additionally, the controls are not very intuitive, which can hinder immersion.
Despite these drawbacks, Smithy Wars offers a blend of crafting, upgrading, and strategic battles. Assemble your team, craft powerful spells, and dominate the battlefield in this engaging RPG experience!
