이름 그대로 100세까지 살아남는 것을 목표로 하는 엘리먼트 매칭 기반의 생존 퍼즐 게임입니다. 매 턴 타일을 선택해 생명 그리드에 배치하고, 동일한 타일 3개를 매치시키며 성장 자원을 확보해 끊임없이 변화하는 인생의 위협에 대응해나가야 하죠.
성장 자원은 영양, 체력, 기술로 나뉘며 각각 다른 역할을 수행합니다. 영양은 기본 생존 자원으로 매 턴 감소하며, 바닥나면 바로 게임 오버가 됩니다. 체력은 바이러스 타일을 즉시 제거하는 데 사용되며, 기술은 스트레스를 해소하는 데 필요한 자원입니다.
게임이 진행될수록 단순한 매치 퍼즐이 아닌 생존 시뮬레이션에 가까운 구성이 됩니다. 어린 시절에는 바이러스만 등장하지만, 학생이 되면 스트레스가 가중되고, 성인이 되면 게임 유혹, 사고 등 다양한 방해 요소가 추가되면서 필드는 점점 혼란스러워집니다. 유혹은 계속 움직이며 방해하고, 스트레스는 기술 매치를 반복해 카운트를 줄여야만 사라지며, 사고는 잘못 매치하면 치명적인 결과를 가져오죠.
일정 턴마다 나이가 올라가며, 이벤트와 생일 선물을 선택하게 됩니다. 일시적으로 사고를 막아주거나, 스트레스를 회복하거나, 필드를 확장해주는 등 다양한 보너스를 얻을 수 있지만, 동시에 필드가 좁아지거나 타일 종류가 늘어나는 등 난이도는 꾸준히 상승합니다.
아이템은 생존의 중요한 열쇠입니다. 바이러스 제거약, 유혹 제거 도구, 활동 변환 부적, 사고 방지 부적 등 다양한 방식으로 위기 상황을 타개할 수 있으며, 특정 시점의 상태를 저장하고 불러올 수 있는 세이브 아이템도 존재합니다. 이를 활용해 반복 플레이보다 치밀한 로드 전략으로 버티는 것도 하나의 선택이죠.
다만, 전체적인 난이도가 높고 선물 효과가 체감이 적은 편이며, 그래픽 관련 이슈(타일 잔상, 캐릭터 겹침 등)나 UI 반응 속도 면에서 다소 아쉬운 점도 존재합니다. 게임 특성상 세이브 기능이 강력하게 작용하기에 한 번의 도전에 집중하게 되지만, 반대로 처음부터 다시 플레이하고 싶은 동기를 약화시키기도 하죠.

Survive till 100 Years Old is a life-themed match-3 puzzle survival game where you carefully place and combine elemental tiles to live a full century—one fragile turn at a time.
Each turn, you choose a tile and place it on the life grid. Matching three of the same type boosts one of three vital resources: Nutrition (for survival), Health (to resist viruses), and Skill (to reduce stress). Running out of Nutrition ends the game immediately, while other threats gradually chip away at your control.
As you age, the challenge ramps up. Viruses, stress, temptations, and accidents enter the field. Each has unique removal mechanics: viruses drain Health when placed but can later only be removed with medicine; stress ticks down through Skill matches; and temptations must be trapped by surrounding tiles. Accidents are especially dangerous—matching more than three triggers stronger effects, and matching five or more results in instant game over.
Every few turns, you grow older and receive birthday gifts or face random life events. Some offer temporary protection or field expansions, while others restrict tile variety or shrink the grid. Aging, in this game, truly feels like an uphill battle.
Items are essential for long-term survival. From virus cures to stress reducers and even talismans that prevent disaster or save your progress, effective item use can be the difference between making it to 80 or getting wiped out by a stray temptation at 47. A manual save-and-load mechanic adds a strategic layer—but also lowers replay incentive once you've secured a stable run.
While the game suffers from occasional visual glitches and a high difficulty curve, Survive till 100 Years Old offers a surprisingly deep and grimly charming twist on life sim meets puzzle survival.
