SMRPG Skill Swap Glitch - A Wild Glitch Appears! #shorts
2,953In Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, it's possible to teach one character the special moves of another character using the Skill Swap Glitch.
In this example, I taught Geno the Sleepy Time ability, which is normally exclusive to Princess Toadstool. To set up the glitch, I made sure both Geno and Peach were close to leveling up. Geno was at level 10, and Peach was at level 9. Since Peach learns Sleepy Time at level 11, it was necessary that Geno was level 10 for this trick to work.
Then I went to the Sea area and stood under an unopened chest with a Star inside it. Next I hit Jump and Menu at the same time so that I could open my menu as I collected the invincibility Star. In the menu, I swapped the positions of Geno and Peach, then I blasted through enemies until both Geno and Peach earned a level up. I'm not sure if they BOTH need to level up in order for this trick to work, but that's how I did it, okay?
Anyway, when the Star ended, the game displayed that Peach reached level 11 and learned Sleepy Time, and Geno reached level 10. When I opened up my menu, though, it showed that Geno was level 11 and knew the Sleepy Time skill.
You can use this trick to teach spells to characters who don't normally learn them. Most notably, this glitch can be abused to teach Geno Blast to Toadstool. Try it yourself!
