The major boss Hyper Greatthing from Darius Twins has made his way into Super Mario World....or at least half of him did.


Info: Ah so it's been months since I last ripped any graphics. For some reason I had the random idea of including Hyper Greatthing in my hack so I proceeded to rip him. I didn't rip his full body mainly because I didn't need to considering what I wanted to use him for. Ripping his entire body would've also been pretty difficult considering how the screen scrolls to each part of it's body during the fight. Not only that......this guy is HUGE! I seriously wasn't aware of how big Hyper Greatthing actually is until I ripped him in which I found out that just half of him takes up two full ExGFX files. Anyways this was somewhat annoying to rip do to the recoloring necessary though it was smooth sailing after awhile. The problem about him was he was in a black background which made it not possible to tell if he had an outline or not. I pretty much had to make his outline myself and I'm not sure how accurate it is to the original but I think it's definitely passable.

As you can see I got it's mouth to animate. As you can also see, it's horribly out of sync do to Lunar Magic. Haven't figured out how to fix that yet though. This rip took 3 hours in total and would probably not have even taken an hour if it wasn't for the recoloring. That seems to always slow things down.
