Welcome to Nemesis Plays. I play all sorts of games so make sure to take a look around the channel. If you like what you see, consider pitching in: https://ko-fi.com/nemesisplays

This is the beginning of a short playthrough of all 6 Arcade Mode courses present in Dragon Ball FighterZ. The end goal is to unlock Vegeta (SSGSS) and Goku (SSGSS) the cool way by completing the Extreme Gravity Spaceship (Hard) and Hyperbolic Time Chamber (Hard) courses, respectively, each with a minimum rank of A. On paper, this seems simple but the CPU in this game is relentless.

As far as I can tell, the two primary factors for determining the rank of a particular match are 1) match time and 2) remaining health. If you can complete a match before the match timer goes below 200 and your entire team is still standing at the end, then you have a pretty good chance of getting an A rank. The faster you win and less damage you take, the more likely you are to get an S rank, but an A rank is the actual requirement to progress up the course. Pulling off a Destructive Finish, by ending the match with a Level 3 super, may also bump up your ranking but I don't know that for sure.

Also, note that it seems to count blue health, or "potential damage" as I think of it, towards the total health remaining so if you make a mistake and eat a big combo, try to swap out as fast as possible so that fighter can heal that damage back.
