Snapshots: Silent Hill: Downpour with Bwarch and Syn
So. First of all I had to buy a new cord for my HD PVR, since the picture had bars on either side of it on the T.V. (I think it still has the bars on the recording FFFFF) THEN I found out the colors aren't as vibrant in the recording as they are on the T.V. (Which pissed me off) THEN I had to record both the video and the audio on seperate programs and sync it up later, THEN I had to upload the recording to Youtube (As an unlisted video) because for SOME REASON my editing programs didn't like the format .TS but Youtube DID, so I downloaded the video from Youtube as an .MP4. From there I edited the video, raising the volume levels and disabling the game audio (The game audio comes into the microphone anyway) and then uploaded the finished video, this, to Youtube.
In this explanation I didn't include the fact that I tried to convert the original video file three times. It took about an hour on each conversion, and the resulting video from THAT was slowed down for some reason.
Not sure how much I'll be doing console recording. It's a mile and a half compared to recording PC games.
This is very experimental, by the way. It was trying out the HD PVR the way I wanted it to work, yeah. But also it was secretly a stealth recording, since Sin didn't know I was recording us, so his commentary is pretty much genuine to us just hanging out. Fun times~
Silent Hill: Downpour is a videogame. It has some problems, like being boring, and throwing the same thing at you multiple times, but for the most part it works as a game. It's definitely NOT worth a 60$ tag in my opinion though, more like 40$.
