Imagine trying to stuff a game like Snatcher on to the Famicom. : o

I mostly based this off of the MSX version of the tune because I like the slow tempo and the bass that drops harder than Skrillex could ever dream of. This is what lead me to make most of the choices in voicing that I did, and frankly if it wasn't for the existence of the Triangle channel, I probably would have never considered this tune.

This track was originally supposed to only use the 2A03 chip, but in the end, due to the way I decided to set up the voicing, it meant that the accompaniment was trading voices over the Triangle and 2nd Pulse channel, which just didn't sound so great to me, so I decided to throw in two extra Pulse channels courtesy of the MMC5 to try and keep a more consistent sound. I didn't want to try and expand on the tune much more (eg. try to incorporate some touches from other versions like the Sega CD version for example,) because it felt like cheating at that point I guess lol.

I think the melody sounded best on the Triangle channel though, so even with more Pulse than an olympic runner, I still decided to keep some voice trading in after all. It's just smoothed over now.

Big thanks to T4N3 for distributing his Trilotracker .TMU file for this tune. It helped me avoid a lot of guesswork and time wasting as to what was going on in those fast passages.
