One reason to be really sneaky with this mapset is because it doesn't provide you with a lot of resources to take down the "Metal Gear" at the end. Sneaky Doom does provide extra damage if you catch enemies unaware, but at the same time I don't wanna spend too much time shooting the cybie, backing off, and then going back in just to do more damage. The run I did managed was both high tempo and down to the wire, with the last magazine destroying the ol' stompy legs. Not too shabby.

That'll be it for this mapset. I did indeed quite like the idea of translating Metal Gear's level design into Doom, and playing it with Sneaky Doom does provide an interesting alternative interpretation if it was more of a light-based FPS stealther than a top down one.

Some hiccups here and there like the aforementioned vanilla Doom textures side-by-side with MG2MSX ones, and I don't think it actually came with an ending intermission replacement (though understandable, since it was more of a demo), but none of them ruined the run for me.
