Great game.
It's been years since I last played this, so I cannot entirely remember the fastest way to beat Lavos shell, but it worked out fine anyway. Also I forgot which is the important arm for Lavos, my impression was right arm, so I killed it first.
Anyway, music cutting out, or effects not sounding right is due to emulator, one obvious example is 10:46 - 10:56, you hear different sounds for the same moves. But it's no big deal, happens a minority of the time anyway.
Enjoy the great music from the boss fights. A pity my emulator cannot properly play the last music well.
