Sniper Elite is one of my favorite franchises on current generation consoles, and when I learned another entry was on the way, I knew I had to play it.

Sniper Elite: Resistance is not a full-blown sequel, though; rather, it’s a spin-off set during the events of Sniper Elite 5. You play as British sniper Harry Hawker, and are tasked with aiding the French Resistance in their fight against the Nazi Occupation Forces.

While the gameplay does not deviate from Sniper Elite 5 at all, the game does offer a new mode, “Propaganda”, that allows you to attempt timer challenge maps to unlock more in-game content, but for some…it’s just not enough.
