At Death’s Door: Can Ubisoft Be Saved?
0Ubisoft is a French video game publisher that has a long and storied history with numerous IPs spanning across several decades. 
From Rayman and Splinter Cell to Far Cry and Assassin’s Creed, they’re very well-known for once being a truly phenomenal company.
However, after years of numerous controversies and the inability of CEO Yves Guillemot to effectively manage his company and guide them to a promising and prosperous future, Ubisoft is in serious trouble.
With Assassin’s Creed: Shadows getting delayed to 2025, Star Wars: Outlaws failing to sell anywhere close to the needed amount of copies and XDefiant getting pulled offline permanently, the once-amazing Ubisoft is a shell of its former self, and is on the verge of collapse.
Why have the past few years been so brutal for the French company, and can they be saved?
