Snoopy Vs. Xylvania - Battalion Wars/Snoopy VS The Red Baron Mix
I swear, with how Kaiser Vlad carries out his plans, I honestly believe that he and his army would have to fight tooth and nail just to be evenly matched against Snoopy. After all, this is a guy who forms an alliance with a nation, only to immediately double-cross them. I know that Vlad wanted to take the world for himself as fast as possible, but for someone who prides himself on being a strategic puppet master of sorts, he should have known that when utilizing a double-cross plan, you execute it once it’s pretty much just you or them or an ideal opportunity arises that would allow you to instantly wipe them out; not right after you form the alliance when they could easily team up with others.
But Vlad only gets worse with his planning in the second game because while his strategy in the first game can be justified with him being overconfident in his army’s abilities and a desire to destroy two powerful enemies with one bomber, as it were, I don’t even know what he was on when he came up with his next plan, that strategy being the following: trick the Anglo Islands into attacking the Solar Empire under the assumption of having a hidden superweapon, expecting the Anglo Islands forces to be driven out, prompting the Solar Empire to launch a counterattack on the Anglo Islands with the Tundrans supporting them, and then while a good chunk of the Tundran army is busy fighting in the Anglo Islands, sending his own forces into Tundra to search for an ancient superweapon. I don’t mean to be so hard on Vlad- he’s an epic villain who leads an epic army with an epic theme- but how on earth did he expect his plan to work? Heck, I’m more surprised that his plan did work until the very end of the game. I mean, there are so many moving parts that could have easily gone awry. For example, what if the Anglo Islands actually defeated the Solar Empire in their attack? Or what if A-Qira was too prideful to ask the Tundrans for help? Or what if Vlad was completely wrong and the staff wasn’t in the Tundran territories?
