It's the most wonderful time of the year. The month where every MMO under the sun rolls out its festive events. New NPCs blossom to life, there's recipes galore for egg-nogs and cookies, and if you have to the aptitude there's a whole bunch of side quests to complete.

Elder Scrolls Online is, of course, no different. Its New Life Festival offers all the classic MMO holiday tropes, including a recipe for one Snow Bear Glow-Wine.

But what is Snow Bear Glow-Wine? If it's inspired by the Nords then surely it's like a Glogg, from Scandanavia. But if it's a Glow-Wine then it could be a German Glühwein. And if it's a fictional Tamriel version, what makes it different?

Well, here's our take.

INGREDIENTS

1 bottle red wine
1 stick cinnamon
1 peel lemon
1 peel orange
10-ish cloves
Half orange, cut into slices
Half lemon, cut into slices
2 tbsp honey
10-ish juniper berries
