Deadlock just had a new rank redistribution with the goal of improving matchmaking and accurately reflecting the skill of players. With this change, most of the community just got a massive rank boost in order to restore the intended bell curve of ranks! Previously, there were far too many initiate players due to the influx of new and returning players, and it was causing some major matchmaking issues. Hopefully after this change, matchmaking will be much better!
