Bloomberg has a new report claiming that the Nintendo Switch pro was originally planned for 2021 but due to the chip shortage they have had to delay it to winter of 2022 possibly. Also stated is really the important of 4k gaming now that PlayStation 5, Ps5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S are outputting at 4k so easily. Nintendo needs a new console to keep up in the graphics and visuals department and they know it to maximize games like Metroid Prime 4, Bayoneta 3, or even just that new Kirby game coming to Nintendo Switch.
