Pretty late in the playthrough, I stumbled upon another case of the game having a lot of nice mechanical touches. It turns out that there's a quick-charge move you an execute by doing a charge attack after a regular dodge attack (so long as you hit an enemy with the dodge-attack. Thanks to Crab_Milk_Mickey for confirming that! Quick charges make the Rock Soldiers much easier to deal with, and is very effective on some bosses as well.

Regarding strategies for specific enemies, it seems there's a bunch of these. For example, Robot Walkers (the little dome-shaped walkers with pop-out gun heads) can be defeated pretty quickly with dive kicks - it shoves their heads back down and and flips 'em over, temporarily disabling them for an easy kill.

The nostalgia continues with a return of the most distinct use of the ability to throw enemies into the camera. The boss of the (now relatively dilapidated) Technodrome operates similar to the initial encounter in Turtles in Time, however this time instead of Shredder in the pilot's seat, you fight Chrome Dome, who occasionally jumps into the foreground to pummel the turtles from afar while Foot ninjas take over (and provide crucial ammunition to use against Chrome Dome).

The remainder of the plunge through Dimension X leads to a fight with Krang and then Shredder himself. This is the somewhat infamous moment where every streamer worries whether or not they're gonna get DMCA'd due to having a couple of members of Wu-Tang Clan doing vocals. The Shredder fight itself is surprisingly easy, and it turns out that a bigger fight awaits (literally!).

In what could be seen as a nod to Ghostbusters II, the Statue of Liberty comes to life, though in this case it's on the enemy's side as the Statue of Tyranny, piloted by Krang (complete with stylish spectacles). While the boss has a ton of HP, it's thankfully a pretty easy fight.

I finally get a proper Shredder fight as he returns with a vial of Ooze and turns into Super Shredder. Though, despite his fearsome appearance, he's still an easy fight. In fact, due to his invulnerability outside of the moments where he stops from exhaustion, most of the fight is just waiting for your free hits.

Overall, I really enjoyed the game - though I absolutely should have maxed out the difficulty. It's often hard to tell exactly how I should start a game, and sometimes picking the default (since it'll have the most developer time) will bite me when the target audience for a game prefers something a little easier.

I'm going to be diving into some TMNT multiplayer ASAP, and I really hope I get the chance to get a full 6-player game going - I'm sure it'll be ridiculously fun and chaotic.
