This Graveyard's for Me - Elden Ring pt.101 (2022-03-13)
As I continue to move past the outer wall area, it seems I'm entering the Haligtree itself. There's a waterfall of rot (the thick variation that you can't easily roll through!) and looking down, I see some sort of core area. I spent some time trying to figure out if you can hop down, but it seems there's probably another path.
Luckily, the rot area is pretty reasonable, especially since I'm able to deal with the Pests that lie in wait. Anyone who doesn't know to backstep/quickstep/etc. and doesn't have a ranged option is probably in for a tough time.
I end up outside again, working down to a church area filled with Pests and some Haligtree knights in the surrounding graveyard area. This is where I get to demonstrate how strong some of the throwing items area, especially Cuckoo Glintstone and Glintstone Scrap. Even trying to play it safe, the area is still super dangerous. Unlike the Pests that I think would make things difficult for melee builds, the Haligtree knights and their high health pools and heavy charging melee attacks are what tended to get me.
Strangely enough, there really wasn't much worth my effort down in the graveyard, but anyone who wants a bunch of high-level Spirit Ashes would definitely want to head down there.
