14Before Larian made Baldur's Gate 3, they created the Divinity series, an aRPG franchise, but in 2014 they dove into the cRPG genre they're known for today with "Divinity Original Sin" - and while a bit rough around the edges, it laid the foundation for one of the best combat systems in turn-based cRPGs (DOS2's) and set them on the path to renown through the release of the slightly simpler Baldur's Gate 3.
