SOG Terminus XR Knife Review
Judged straight from the factory/vendor, no pre-disassembly.

Fit and Finish:
Weight: 3.3 ounces
Blade/Handle Ratio: Average
Blade Centered: Centering is perfect
Blade Style/Grind: Drop Point/Hollow Grind
Jimping: Yes, blade and flipper tab, usable
Lockbar Style Detent: Heavy pressure to get past lockbar using thumb stud or flipper
Lockup: Lockbar 100%
Branding: Both sides. But very nice and tasteful. I love the maker's marks and presentation that SOG does.
Hardware: All clip screws countersunk, decent pivot and XR lock hardware
Clip: Clip disappears in hand, very nice. Very well made a classy design.
No lanyard option.

Handle Materials:
G-10, Crimson Red color.
Nice cutouts and shaped handles
XR lock is easy to disengage
Four finger grip
Feels nice in hand
The clip compliments the design
I really dig the company logo on the blade and clip

Steel:
Steel is D2, satin stone finish
Jimping is usable on the blade
Sharp from factory

Ergo’s:
Feels very solid in handle and the G-10 shaping is comfortable to grip
All edges rounded over
The shape of the handle is nice looking

Fidgetability:
Smooth action great at flipping using the XR lock to open
Drop shutty action gets better with use.
Fun to flip with XR not so much with thumb stud

Design:
I think it's well designed. Kind has a slight tactical and a traditional pocket knife look.

Reminds of a good traditional American knife. Something Buck would have done in my younger years. But it looks modern, just a traditional feeling I get from the knife.

I would like to see a different style/grind of the G10. I keep telling myself it's G10 and not FRN or plastic. It feels and looks like plastic scales.

Using the thumb stud I would have to say is not a fun or pleasant experience. XR lock is strong to get past.
