Technical Preview of Pyro includes not a full system, but a limited space around the star (3 planets - Pyro I, Bloom, Monox and multiple clusters). Pyro includes some "space weather", there are random(?) Coronal Mass Ejection events that mess up your ship electronics. CMEs can reach you both in space and on the surface. Not sure if it affects the character health in the current build, but it might in the future ones.
