Solar Power Design (Let's Play Factorio Kilobase S20 E004)
26The design goals for my solar power array are to achieve the optimum balance between accumulators and panels in such a pattern that I can quickly expand the array. I will have train tracks where I can lay down a roboport that will then fill up the pattern. Then I can pick up the robots and excess supplies and then move to the next area and do it again. At the end of the episode, I realize I have a severe steel shortage due to the solar panels and so I try some band-aids to fix it.
Let's play Factorio on the PC. I'm building a megabase with 1k science per minute using trains, a kilobase, if you will.
