As the Theatre Reserve Battalion soldiers in 2nd Battalion, the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers have to maintain operational readiness at all times.

They could be deployed at any moment and last week had to hold their regimental celebrations for St Georges Day 48 hours early so they could put their quick response to the test on exercise.
