Soloing the Cave Troll as Fighter (LVL1 with Starting Kit) - Dark and Darker
577I made a brand new fighter character and practiced this fight for hours with only 1 perk and no gear beyond the default starting kit. This video is the full run where I finally tackled the troll and may have been one of the first people to do it without some form of cheesing. I tried to break down the fight and share my experiences as much as possible, but this is definitely one that will require a bit of practice!

Dark and Darker Alpha Playtest #4 - Will post here if any info in this video changes:
1 - New patch this morning that reduced the troll damage by 10%, but also added a small passive health regen.

Alpha Playtest #4 is here, and with it we received an experimental solo-only dungeon that hosts a new Cave Troll boss. On day 1 of the test I set out to tackle this new boss with a variety of different classes. After getting 5 easy kills as Ranger I decided to see just how 'melee-friendly' this new boss is.
