Solution - How to make 4 different colors for 4 different portals
https://1drv.ms/u/s!AoPEwcmh86n1zyVZiASfcziCivQz?e=euHMH2
Extract folder and place in your levels art folder so that it has its own folder...
example...
C:\Users\you\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.25\levels\smallgrid\art\portal
One may think it is as simple as making 4 copies of one portal and simply changing the portal color to something different for each one...
But one would be wrong... hehe, I explain this in the video but it comes down to this, If you clone and apple, it is still an apple. It will still have the same color as the other apple. Instead make 4 different portals in Blender, give each one a different texture name, join them all together and they will have 4 different textures. Dont forget to make your textures in the Material Editor before you import that model from the asset browser. And I would pick a texture name other than blue. I changed the names to bluehole instead in the event "blue" is already a texture in your level... Oh, and don't forget to rebuild collisions. These have a collision mesh included.
** Almost forgot, thank you for the easy question :D **
Why does Chuck Norris sleep with a nightlight ?
It is not because Chuck Norris is affraid of the dark,
It is because the dark is affraid of Chuck Norris :P
Fun Facts - Once got suspended from school for the artwork I created for the football team. At our highschool it was tradition for the the football players to run through a large paper banner at the beginning of a football game to get the players and fans hyped up. Often times there would be inspirational things wrote on these banners or artwork.
I was given the task to draw something one particular time. Since the school mascot was a bulldog, they wanted that painted on there. I thought it would be funny to draw a bulldog with its head on the ground as if the other team ripped it off... with blood and everything dripping from the neck...I was able to get out of other classes for about a week to work on this very large drawing with pretty much no supervision...
Needless to say after a week of work nobody thought that it was very funny, except for me and the other art student who helped work on it.
I was never asked again to draw anything for the school :))
