tragically the PC version has a lot of issues with crashing-- sometimes there are little things you can tweak to fix them and sometimes they resolve themselves...
thankfully, I am pretty skilled with google-fu and I was able to get passed the major hurdle-- pay attention to the timestamp around the time I start googling if you wanna skip that part...
I initially wanted to cut it out but I realized someone might find it useful to hear me read solutions out loud.
