Some Guy's SMW Challenge [71] The Coins and Points are Made of Lava
11SMW challenge from liverpol2222:
Clear Vanilla Secret 2 without getting any coins or points aside from the time bonus. I must start off caped, but I cannot fly. Also, the Green Switch has to be active, and I must hit the goal tape at the end.
Most of this isn't too difficult, but it's silly to make a stupid mistake somewhere along the line. Still, it only took me a few attempts.
The challenge originally allowed me to spin jump fly over the Yoshi Coin just before the line of spinies in the second half, and I could collect the four coins over the pit just after that spiny line, but the cape allowed me to easily avoid the four coins over the pit, and I can avoid the Yoshi Coin without flying by spin jumping off a nearby spiny (just be careful not to hit the multi-coin block with the cape, though). I also probably could've ducked under the Yoshi Coin, but my positioning would've had to have been perfect.
