Some Random Thoughts on Star Wars Episode 1: Racer
13The Phantom Menace is probably not your favourite Star Wars movie (though if it is, I'd love to hear why), but - as with much of the prequel trilogy - it certainly has its moments. I would argue that one of those comes in the form of the Boonta Eve Classic, a podracing event in which a young Anakin Skywalker competes, and, lo and behold, there's an entire game based around it that I happened to pick up for free. So let's have a look at a couple of the reasons why Star Wars Episode 1: Racer is an absolute delight, and will go down as one of the most pleasant surprises that I've encountered in my recent years of playing videogames.
