Song for War - The most hype WW2 board game I’ve ever played!
357This World War II board game is the most hyped I’ve had in a war game covering that era! We played Song for War: Mediterranean Theater, a war game from Invicta Rex, once, in a 7 hour game, and were blown away by its simultaneous + hidden movement and distinct units. There’s Ameritrash dice rolling with area control ideas around southern Europe and North Africa. We played one of many scenarios too. You can even do a type of tech tree/track by buying NS cards, which can unlock cool new German units to dice roll with! So how does this compare to popular BGG games like Undaunted: Normandy, and even the older Avalon Hill Axis and Allies? Perhaps this can satisfy on resident GMT geek…
