We have a 2 player duel of this area control game! In Nataterra by Game Tribe, we play as asymmetric factions striving for dominance on a hex board. It has some euro elements of ramping up, but mostly feels like a 4x. Technology cards and upgrades are a plenty during each turn too. The unique factions slightly remind us of Root, except that there is now an in-depth combat system which is like a game within the game. With multi-use cards and ameritrash-like dice rolling, who will come out ahead between Ashton and Alexander? Hopefully Ashton doesn't make a mistake to snowball the combat resolution against him...
