Here's an idea that I've had in my mind for over a decade of my life, since Elementary School, even! And something that I've actually made just a couple years ago.

Made in FL-Studio with the combined efforts of the Ultimate Megadrive/GenesisSF soundfont and the VOPM plugin, I've tried to remake Sonic 2's 2-Player theme of Mystic Cave Zone, and do the same for Sonic 3's theme for Launch Base Zone Act 1, then put them both together in a way that would make sense.

The pic you see here is just a quick little edit I made to give you a good idea of what this feels like.

As far as instruments go, Mystic Cave 2-Player's main melody and supporting instruments run this song, while the main baseline and the entirety of the percussion is from Launch Base Act 1. Mystic Cave's own baseline comes and goes by around the middle of this song to greet Launch Base's.

Everything you hear in this combo theme was done by scratch, and both themes aren't 100% accurate to their original versions, which I will post below:

Certain parts of Launch Base's theme aren't in my combo theme, mainly because these parts use a different pitch from what Mystic Base's 2-Player theme always sticks with. Certain individual instruments from Launch Base sound different from how they do in the original version, because I'm still figuring out how to replicate them perfectly in FL-Studio. I might release an updated version of this song when I do. This includes its long-sounding horn and its 7 to 9 beeps.

I also made an Act 2 version of this combo theme, which is pretty much the same song, but drops all baselines and most trumpets for the majority of the song, just like what Launch Base Act 2 does compared to Act 1 in Sonic 3.
