Explainer on what this category means:
Hyper Sonic means that I start the run with all 14 emeralds, allowing me to transform into Hyper Sonic from the beginning of the game whenever I collect 50 rings.
Glitchless means that any glitch that causes me to move into or through a solid object is not allowed, as well as any method of level wrap, and the slope and wheel glitches.

I was originally kind of unsure that this would be a worthwhile category, but I've found it to be quite fun, even though it makes the enemies completely trivial. Much of the challenge comes from completely reimagining what is possible in the level - there are many routes in this run that would be unthinkable or unviable with other characters.

There are also a couple of things that look kind of strange but are to avoid game-breaking glitches:
* Marble Garden - if at any point during either act you use the hyper dash and it kills a fake spike enemy, the act 2 boss will crash the game when it hits the ground. In order to prevent this you have to either die or use a bonus stage.
* Mushroom Hill 1 - if you don't kill the boss before it first moves off screen, you have to scroll all the way to the right before getting the final hit, or else Knuckles will not appear at the start of act 2.

Going over the top of the screen is OK, and you see me do it a few times, but Lava Reef 2 is bugging me - you can see the screen jerk back to the left as though a short zip has happened. I might make it so future runs don't have this skip, it seems a bit unclear as to whether it fits under "glitchless". To be honest it seems like taking Knuckles' exit to the stage kind of breaks the spirit of the rule anyway. [EDIT: I've clarified that glitchless runs in future should defeat all relevant bosses, and removed the "glitchless" moniker from this one.]
