This is my Sonic 3 & Knuckles speedrun, collecting all 77 Special Stage rings in 53:23 of in-game time. This includes some time spent dying, several deaths are intentional and two (in FB2 and SO1) are not.

This is a fun little category I made up to make Hyper Sonic runs more interesting (and less similar to the plain Sonic run, which is incredibly brutal to optimise). It makes for a nice mix between seeing more of the stages than you do in the heavily glitched speedruns, but also using some glitches to get into areas unintended for Sonic.

This category is performed by controlling both Sonic and Tails at the same time in various situations. There are a few instances where I still need to use Tails to fly Sonic up somewhere (the rings in MG2 and LR1 are good examples), despite Hyper Sonic's vastly increased mobility.
