Due to the complexity of Sonic 3 & Knuckles in terms of mechanics, and its neat separation into zones, I've elected to split my S3&K tutorials up by zone. (Splitting by act doesn't work, since some act 2s require things to be set up from act 1 of the same zone.)

Here I look at Launch Base, which appears very simple due to two level wraps but is probably the hardest stage in the game to do optimally, due to the difficulty of the LB2 wrap.

One thing I failed to mention is that, in LB1, you'll run straight through the Orbinaut enemy at the start. There's a temptation to jump and kill it - don't do it, because this will affect the flybot's flight path.
