Funny instance how this video came about. My original video for All Stars Racing Transformed was played and recorded on my second Steam Deck but for some odd reason the audio was glitchy. I re-recorded the gameplay footage using different audio settings but no joy. Audio was still borked each time.

Becoming frustrated with Decky Recorder, I was about to pull the trigger on a capture card purchase for my main Deck when the idea came to me to record the game on my main Deck to see if it would finally work. As I was about to install the game on my main Deck, Steam was like, "bro...you know we can stream that right? Straight from Deck 2 to Deck 1 because we're cool like that."

I streamed the game and it was glorious. Even more amazing, it worked while both Decks were tethered to one of my phones. I was so amazed at how well it worked, that it was decided to record the session on the spot. The footage you see is being streamed from one Deck to the other, while tethered to a smartphone (old Pixel 4a) and being recorded with Decky Recorder. I was even able to use Handbrake and KDenLive to process and edit the video on the Deck and upload it to YouTube. It's a great time to be a gamer.
