Welcome back to Sonic and the Secret Rings,

Last time we finished helping King Solomon and were told where Erazor Djinn has his hideout which ended up being a floating palace in the night sky.

This time we go to the Night Palace as we start with the CG cutscene that place right after we unlocked the world (but I cut it from the last part since it makes more sense to start Night Palace right after that cutscene)
When we make our way through the palace we run into the Erazor Djinn, but as we don't have the last world ring yet I've cut the scene and we see this meeting a little later after we collect the last World Ring.

To find the ring we need to do the missions:
Head to Head, Diehard Challenge, Hands Off, and Rampage.
After the last mission we find the final World Ring the Purple Ring of Sadness, and with the last ring collected Sonic asks Shahra the big question which is her history with the Erazor Djinn, which explains that the Erazor Djinn was sealed away in the lamp as a punishment for misdeeds he did and then he was forced to grant the whishes of mortal people, which only led to the Erazor Djinn's festering a newly found anger and hate for the people whose whishes he was forced to grant and thus came to despise the story he was written into which eventually led to the Erazor Djinn destroying his own world by erasing the words that make it up.
So now that we know this, next time we make our way back to the Erazor Djinn.
