Welcome back to Sonic and the Secret Rings,

Last time we met Shahra who took us to the world of the Arabian Nights but before Sonic could do anything to save the world we ran into the Erazor Djinn who besides carving out the pages of the book also placed a curse on our blue hero that forces Sonic to help the genie into completing his plans of finding the seven world rings of this world.

After being cursed we follow the Erazor Djinn into the Sand Oasis to find King Shahryar and after we make our way to the castle we find out that king Shahryar as well as other characters from the story have their role filled by some people from Sonic's world with the king being played by dr. Eggman, while we were introduced to the king of the land Erazor Djinn riding on a pterodactyl comes crashing into the castle and kidnaps Shahryar so we make our way through more of the oasis before running after the genie.

After doing a couple more missions in the Oasis we run into another familiar face who is playing a character in this story: Tails as Ali Baba, Ali Baba after being saved from Erazor's henchmen offers his help when and if we ever need it.

After another couple missions we find a big scorpion Erazor Djinn summoned to look for the World Rings and when Shahra tells us she can't destroy it Sonic takes on the Sand Scorpion himself, which ends up uncovering one of the World Rings, which Sonic then takes and finds out that these rings can't be touched by beings from this world (or at least Shahra couldn't pick it up) after a bit of exposition by Shahra Sonic learns that by collecting the world rings Sonic's life would be sacrificed if he finds all 7.

This game has a lot of different missions and this world is the first real time we see this with Sand Oasis having missions like: "don't break pots", or "collect a certain amount of rings".

Almost every world has lyrics to the music which make little to no sense and I would like to showcase the lyrics here in the description.
