Sonic Dash: The Fan Game

This video showcases Sonic Boom 2, a 3D Sonic fan game based on Sonic Dash by 3MX DIGITAL. This fan game includes 7 characters to play as: Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Espio, Cream, and Dr. Eggman as well as a Sonic Dash inspired Seaside Hill track with Badniks, Rings, Springs, Checkpoints, and more! You can also buy items with the Rings and Red Star Rings you collect for power ups and more!

💭 Opinion Time: This fan game is really nostalgic as that goes with most early 3D Sonic fan games. This one I love especially because it’s based on Sonic Dash which was my first Sonic game. I do love that there’s alternate characters to players, although you have to pay for them with Red Star Rings which you can get throughout the level. I also do love the alternative pathways you can choose from whether going on the normal route or taking a detour to go through a loop. This isn’t really an endless runner like Sonic Dash is as you can make a full loop around the whole stage, but it is based on getting a high score, which was the whole point of Sonic Dash.
