Looks like we've reached the climax of this little game! Well, for Sonic's story anyway. Still got Shadow's playthrough to do and Silver's whenever that gets released.

Aquatic Base was always one of the easier stages to S rank in this game. S ranks require you to get 50,000 points for the stages, while you needed 30,000 for the town missions. The stage goes on long enough that you won't be getting a time bonus even with the Red Gem, but you can gain 50,000 points just from killing enemies, regardless of which campaign you're playing this stage on.

This is also the only stage in the game that allows you to use all three members of Team Sonic, I've noticed. I mean, there is a town mission in the original release that lets you use all three, but that mission is nothing to write home about...

Come to think of it, this is the only main stage in the game that uses all three of your amigos. Silver never has both Blaze and Amy with him at the same time, and while Team Dark is all together by their final stage, you still only utilize two of them. The Very Hard mode DLC for Shadow's stages does utilize all three members of Team Dark, which is cool, but I'm not sure if that'll ever make its way into this fan game... Not problem though. I'm happy with getting just the main stages anyway.
